Labadi Beach Hotel, a flagship name in Ghana’s hospitality sector, has presented a dividend of GH₵16.5 million to its shareholder, the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT).
The dividend, announced during the hotel’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), reflects the hotel’s dedication to maintaining steady returns while bolstering its leadership status in the industry.
Mr. David Eduaful, Managing Director of Labadi Beach Hotel, expressed pride in the hotel’s consistent growth and success, attributing it to the dedication of the entire team.
“Every achievement and every guest experience are a testament to the passion and hard work of our entire team. We are excited about what the future holds,” Mr. Eduaful said.
He also credited the hotel’s board and resilient staff as instrumental in pushing the brand to new heights and redefining excellence across its operations.
Dividend growth over the years
The GH₵16.5 million dividend comes on the heels of other notable payouts in recent years, including GH₵25 million in 2022 and GH₵10 million in 2021, underscoring Labadi Beach Hotel’s commitment to delivering consistent value to its stakeholders. The hotel’s success, according to Mr. Eduaful, is a reflection of sound management and its clear vision for growth.

The hotel was named “CIMG Hospitality Facility of the Year 2023” by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) and won both Regional and National titles as the “Five-Star Hotel of the Year” by the Ghana Tourism Authority.
