The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will open nominations for its 2026 Constituency Executive Elections on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

The party, in a statement issued on Thursday, September 10, said the opening of nominations forms part of the electoral process outlined in its general timetable.

It encouraged members who intend to contest the various Constituency Executive positions to take advantage of the nomination period and comply with the prescribed requirements.

The NDC said all payments for the picking and filing of nominations must be made strictly through its online portal, forms.ghanandc.com, using mobile money across all networks.

Aspirants, proposers, seconders and endorsers are required to be members in good standing and must have fully paid their party membership dues for the past four years.

Members with outstanding dues have been directed to settle their arrears through 92025# or the party’s website.

“The National Secretariat wishes to inform all Constituencies and members that nominations for the 2026 Constituency Executive Elections will officially open on Tuesday, 15th September 2026, to commence the process as outlined in the general timetable earlier released,” the statement said.

The party has also officially opened campaigning for its 2026 internal elections at the Constituency, Regional and National levels.

It said all aspirants may begin their campaigns in accordance with the party’s rules, regulations and directives governing the electoral process.

Party officials, including Regional and Constituency Officers and Ward Coordinators, have been directed to allow campaign activities by aspirants within their respective jurisdictions.

The NDC, however, said the campaign window does not apply to persons pursuing or intending to pursue parliamentary ambitions, including sitting Members of Parliament and persons considering or expressing an intention to contest parliamentary elections.

It warned that any violation of the directive would be dealt with in accordance with the party’s rules and regulations.

The National Secretariat urged constituencies, aspirants and members to conduct themselves with discipline and respect for the party’s democratic values throughout the electoral process.

It also called for the cooperation of all members to ensure a transparent, peaceful and orderly electoral process.
