NPP MPs and party executives pick nomination forms for Nana B

NPP executives nomination

Henry Nana Boakye

In a brief, colourful exercise this morning, Members of Parliament ,  party executives, stalwarts and enthusiastic supporters of the NPP have picked nomination forms for Henry Nana Boakye to contest for the party’s National First Vice Chairman position.

In unison, the group sang a simple Chorus: ‘The NPP needs a ‘Nana B’ spirit at this very critical phase of our National Politics’.

The group indicated that in this time of harassment and suppression of free speech by the NDC Government, Nana B has demonstrated great courage and boldness, and he will be a great addition to the National Leadership of the party in this critical period as the National 1st Vice Chairman of the NPP.

They appealed to NPP delegates to endorse Nana B’s bid overwhelmingly and put the party in good shape to wrestle power from the NDC in 2028.

Nana B officially declared his intention to contest for the position of National First Vice-Chairman of the party.

In a formal declaration addressed to party executives, elders, patrons and members, Nana B said his decision was driven by “gratitude and a deep sense of duty” after 26 years of active service to the NPP.

He said the experience he had acquired over the years had equipped him to help strengthen the party’s organisational structures, reconnect with its grassroots and contribute to efforts to return the NPP to power in the 2028 general elections.

“By the grace of God, and after twenty-six years of active service to our party, I believe the experience and lessons I have gained have prepared me to help strengthen our party structures, reconnect with our grassroots and contribute meaningfully to our collective mission of returning the New Patriotic Party to government in 2028,” he stated.

Nana B highlighted his long record of service across various levels of the party, beginning from the grassroots.
