The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will open nominations for its 2026 National Executive Elections on Tuesday, October 20, with aspirants required to submit their nominations by Wednesday, October 21.

In a press release dated Friday, October 16, and signed by Deputy General Secretary Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, the party announced that nominations would open at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday and close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

The party said the exercise aligns with the electoral timetable issued on August 5, 2026.

The NDC urged members interested in contesting the various national executive positions to take advantage of the nomination period and complete all required procedures within the stipulated timeframe.

It further announced that payments for nomination forms and filing fees must be made exclusively through its online portal, forms.ghanandc.com, using Mobile Money across all networks or Visa and Mastercard.

The party cautioned that it would not accept payments made through banks or bank drafts.

It also stressed that all aspirants, proposers, seconders and endorsers must be members in good standing, with their membership dues fully paid.

Members with outstanding dues have been directed to settle their arrears through the USSD code 92025# or via the party’s website, ndc.org.gh/dues.

The party called on all aspirants and members to uphold discipline and respect for its democratic principles throughout the electoral process.

“The Party urges all aspirants and members to conduct themselves with discipline, decorum and respect for the Party’s democratic values throughout the electoral process.

“The Party counts on the full cooperation and support of all members to ensure a transparent, peaceful, orderly and successful electoral process,” the statement concluded.
