Ga Mantse car accident
The Ga Mantse, Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, is reported to be in stable condition following a road accident in the early hours of Wednesday.
The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. at Pai-Katanga in the Oti Region, while the King was returning to Accra from Tamale.
Sources close to the palace revealed that he had travelled to the Northern Region on a private visit at the invitation of the Yaa Naa. The visit, described as both cordial and significant, was part of ongoing engagements between traditional authorities aimed at strengthening unity and mutual respect among Ghana’s revered institutions.
On his return journey to Accra, however, the Ga Mantse’s vehicle was involved in an accident. He escaped unharmed and is currently in stable condition.
Personnel from the Ghana Police Service reportedly responded promptly after being alerted to the scene.
While the full circumstances of the accident are yet to be clarified, the mood at the palace is one of relief and thanksgiving, as the Ga Mantse remains in good spirits.
