The Electoral Commission (EC) will exhibit the provisional voters’ register online from tomorrow, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, to Saturday, October 19, 2024.
The Commission in a statement said voters could check their details via short code *711*51# free of charge.
The exercise forms part of measures by the Commission to clean the voters’ register ahead of the final compilation of the Register for the 2024 General Election.
The exercise will offer voters’ the opportunity to check their details and report any discrepancies to the Commission for correction.
“Voters can also check their details from our website: https://ec.gov.gh. Voters should click on the pop-up link at the bottom-right corner of the screen and enter the 10-digit Voter ID number to receive their voter registration details. The Public should note that any discrepancies identified must be reported to the District Office of the Commission where they are registered voters for correction,” the EC said.
The EC said after the closure of the online exhibition, voters could still check their details online but could not request for correction of their details.
The Commission urged political parties to use the template provided by the Commission to submit any discrepancies identified during the online exhibition period.
