Black Stars Technical team pays courtesy call on Sports and Recreation Minister

The Black Stars technical team, led by Mr. Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), paid a working visit to the Minister of Sports and Recreation, Mr. Kofi Adams.
The GFA President introduced the members of the revamped Black Stars technical team which includes Head Coach Otto Addo, Assistant Coach Desmond Ofei, and GFA Director of Football and Black Stars Technical Advisor Winfried Schafer, who were introduced to the sector minister.
The discussions were centred around the Black Stars preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar next two weeks.
There were also discussions on the role of government support in helping to execute a flawless campaign as Ghana eyes a fifth appearance at the global football fiesta.
Mr. Okraku expressed his confidence in the Black Stars technical team to deliver success to the Ghanaian people.
The GFA President said his outfit would continue to strengthen its wonderful relationship with the government to ensure seamless cooperation in the collective upliftment of football in the country.
The Black Stars will take on Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 17 before travelling to Morocco to battle Madagascar in the qualifying race for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled to take place in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
