Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs has commended NPP Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for his remarkable contributions to various transformational initiatives during his tenure as Vice-President.
Traditional leaders have thrown their weight behind Dr. Bawumia’s vision for Ghana, endorsing him for the upcoming presidential election.
The endorsement came during a meeting held in Goaso between Dr. Bawumia and the Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs.
Dr. Bawumia took the opportunity to outline his vision for the nation and elaborate on the policies his government plans to implement across various sectors to address challenges and propel the country forward.
Following Dr. Bawumia’s presentation, several traditional rulers voiced their support for his policies and presidential candidacy. President of the Ahafo Regional House Chiefs, Nana Ansah Adu Baah, praised Dr. Bawumia’s humility and expressed confidence in his policies, highlighting their positive impact on promoting peace and unity in the nation.
Osuodumgya Barima Appiah Dwaah Boafo II, the Omanhene of Hwediem Traditional Area, and Osahene Kweku Aterkyi II, the Omanhene of Kukuom Traditional Area, also commended Dr. Bawumia for his work and policies.
They particularly lauded his leadership in driving transformative digitalization initiatives, noting its significant benefits, especially for the youth.
Nana Adwoapo Dwamena Serwaa II, the Omanhemaa of Bechem Traditional Area, expressed strong support for Dr. Bawumia, declaring him “ordained to be the next President.” She pledged their support to help him realize his vision for the nation.
Nana Akwasi Bosompra I, the Omanhene of Goaso, commended the NPP Government for the developmental projects in the Ahafo Region, attributing them to the establishment of the new Ahafo Region by the NPP Government.
Overall, the Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs expressed solidarity with Dr. Bawumia and his policies, affirming their commitment to support him in his presidential aspirations.
They acknowledged the positive impact of his leadership on the nation’s development and pledged to stand by him as he seeks to lead Ghana into a prosperous future.
