A fatal accident at Ejisu Krapa in the Ashanti Region has claimed one life and left 30 others injured after a Ford vehicle and a Toyota Hiace minibus collided head-on.
Eyewitnesses say the Toyota Hiace, travelling towards Kumasi, lost control while speeding and veered into the path of the Ford heading towards Ejisu.
The crash occurred when a Ford vehicle and a Toyota Hiace minibus collided under what eyewitnesses described as severe circumstances.
The Ford was registered AW 3264-21, while the Toyota Hiace bore registration AS 3552-20.
All injured passengers, including two senior high school students, were rushed to the Living Waters Hospital, where one person was pronounced dead on arrival.

An eyewitness reported that several passengers appeared to have suffered limb injuries.
The Medical Director of Living Waters Hospital, Dr Gabriel Sakyi Kwofie, confirmed to Kumasi-based Akoma FM that 31 passengers were brought in.
He noted that one had died, while the remaining victims are receiving treatment. He added that the two students are responding well to care.
