During the 90-minute football match, the winners opened the scoring just three minutes into the game, igniting the energy of both teams.

Franko International mounted a strong defensive effort but failed to convert their goal-scoring chances, allowing Adrobaa to extend their lead with a second goal in the 56th minute in the Milo U–13 Champions League.

The Milo U–13 Champions League, organised by Nestlé Ghana Ltd in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service and endorsed by the Ghana Football Association, featured players aged 9 to 13 representing their regions in a bid to showcase their talent and teamwork.

Over 20,000 children across the country participated in the prestigious league, which returned after a five-year hiatus.

The national stage, which began on December 2 to December 7, saw the top 16 schools representing the various Regions.

The top three schools were awarded cash prizes, medals, Nestlé products and football accoutrements.

Deborah Kwabla, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Manager for Nestlé Ghana, speaking to newsmen after the competition, said the company sought to use the platform to nurture the next top players for Ghana and the rest of the world.
