Ghana Black Stars coach Otto Addo has named a 22-man squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Japan and South Korea.
The Black Stars gaffer handed call-ups to some new players, including Czech Republic-based striker Prince Kwabena Adu.
The former Bechem United player has impressed with Viktoria Plzen in the Czech top-tier league, and he would be joined by CF Montreal forward Prince Osei Owusu and Medeama SC winger Kelvin Nkrumah.
The Black Stars, after qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, would be without several key players, including captain Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey and Mohammed Kudus.
Otto Addo, with several fresh additions to his squad, would aim to build momentum ahead of next year’s World Cup after missing out on the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The Black Stars would hold their first training session in Nagoya on Wednesday ahead of Friday’s Kirin Cup clash with Japan in the friendlies.
They would then travel to Seoul to face South Korea on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
