3 win Prados in MTN@30 promo draw at Kejetia
Three MTN Ghana customers—a businesswoman, a farmer and an engineer—have driven home brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prados after emerging as the biggest winners in the MTN@30 reward promotion.
Faustina Asante, Mahama Wasila and Alidu Tanko received the keys to their vehicles at a colourful prize presentation at Kejetia in Kumasi on September 16, 2026, as part of activities marking MTN Ghana’s 30th anniversary.
The three winners qualified through their everyday use of MTN services, including calls, data and Mobile Money transactions. They did not have to register separately, dial a special short code or undertake any additional activity to participate, as points were accumulated automatically from their normal transactions.
30,000 customers to benefit
The three-month MTN@30 promotion is expected to reward up to 30,000 customers, with prizes ranging from brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prados to cash awards of up to GH¢30,000.

Nine Toyota Land Cruiser Prados will be awarded in total, with three vehicles presented at each of three prize events.
Accra hosted the first presentation, while the Kejetia event in Kumasi was the second, bringing the number of Prados awarded so far to six.
The final presentation, where the remaining three vehicles will be awarded, is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
Speaking at the Kejetia presentation, the Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing at MTN Ghana, Sandra Oduro Antwi, said the promotion was the company’s way of expressing appreciation to customers who had supported the brand throughout its 30-year journey.
She said the anniversary was not solely about MTN but also about the millions of Ghanaians whose patronage had made the company part of their daily lives.
“This milestone belongs not to MTN alone, but to the more than 32 million Ghanaians who have made MTN part of their lives,” she said.
Winners surprised by prizes
For Mahama Wasila, a farmer from the Northern Region, the prize came as a surprise.
She said she had simply continued buying airtime and data and conducting Mobile Money transactions without imagining that her routine activities could eventually earn her a new vehicle.
“I never imagined that I could win something like this, but by God’s grace, I have won this,” she said.
Mrs Faustina Asante, a businesswoman, said she learnt about the MTN@30 promotion on TikTok and subsequently continued using MTN services, including Mobile Money for most of her business transactions.
She also purchased significant amounts of data bundles for family and friends before emerging as one of the three Prado winners at the Kejetia event.
Expressing gratitude for the prize, she encouraged other customers to participate in future promotions and remain hopeful, saying genuine opportunities could transform lives unexpectedly.
KPMG verifies winners
The Senior Specialist, Mass Segment at MTN Ghana, Samuel Arthur, said the MTN@30 promotion was designed as a gesture of gratitude to Ghanaians for their support since the company commenced operations in Ghana.

He said independent auditing firm KPMG reviews and verifies the promotion data at every stage to ensure transparency, fairness and integrity in the selection of winners.
According to him, the system is structured to reward customers based on their regular engagement with MTN services, allowing participation without a separate registration process.
Celebrating 30 years
The MTN@30 promotion forms part of activities marking MTN Ghana’s 30th anniversary under the theme “30 Years of Progress, Powered by You.”
The theme recognises the contribution of customers, employees, business partners and other stakeholders whose loyalty and collaboration have shaped the company’s operations in Ghana over the past three decades.
The Kejetia presentation consequently combined the anniversary celebrations with a direct reward to customers, highlighting MTN Ghana’s strategy of marking the milestone by recognising the people who have supported the brand throughout its journey.
