The widow of the late John Kumah has remarried, Lilian Owusu, marking a new chapter in her life years after the passing of the former public figure.
Details of the event were kept low-key; however, a flyer featuring the newlywed couples has since circulated on social media, drawing public attention and sparking online discussions.
A flyer thanking guests at the ceremony, which has gone viral on social media, identifies her husband as Samuel Aryeequaye.
“Thank you! Samuel Aryeequaye & Lilian Owusu are deeply thankful for your presence at our engagement ceremony. Your support, love, and well-wishes mean more to us than words can express. God bless you abundantly.
“A cord of three strands is not easily broken, Ecclesiastes 4:12,” the flyer reads.

News of her remarriage has generated mixed reactions, with many Ghanaians offering well-wishes and support. In contrast, others have engaged in public debate about grief, healing, and moving on after loss.
John Kumah was widely known for his contributions to public service.
His death was met with an outpouring of grief from colleagues, supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and the general public, with many praising his dedication and impact.
He was married to Apostle Mrs Lilian Owusu, founder and senior pastor of Disciples of Christ Ministries Worldwide, when they first met in 2005, and they married a year later.
