A compassionate trader at Tema Community 4, Bismark Nimo Adansi, is being hailed for his efforts in transforming the life of a mentally ill young woman who had been living on the streets for years.

The young woman, identified as Charity, was previously a second-year student at Simms Senior High School but dropped out after developing mental health challenges.

Bismark first noticed Charity about five years ago, regularly finding her sleeping near his shop at night. He began offering her food and conversation, gradually building trust and understanding her situation.

Recently, he made the bold decision to take direct action. He bathed Charity, shaved her matted hair, provided clean clothing, and began personally caring for her, a video shared on X by @eddie_wrt shows.

His dedication has already led to noticeable improvements in her condition.

Today, Charity is off the streets and showing signs of recovery, thanks to Bismark’s consistent care and support. He continues to provide her with shelter and daily engagement.

Former classmates remember Charity as a bright and promising student. While her progress is evident, full medical care remains out of reach due to financial constraints.

Bismark is now appealing to the public for support to help Charity fully recover and rebuild her life.

Some said “Every man is drowning in his own burden and before one may feel like helping, let him be strong enough to carry the weight of another else what’s the purpose of sacrifice? I wish for him & the thousand more helpers out there, the strength to carry on! This is wholesome.”

Below are messages on X praising the trader for helping the girl.

I was deeply touched reading your story. God bless Mr. Bismarck for reaching out to this young lady. @eddie_wrt , please if you can, encourage Mr. Bismarck to do a documentary and establish a GoFundMe and solicit for help for this lady. That may help.

I want to help a friend ℹ completed Senior High with, he’s into drugs. But every time I ask him about it, he denies it. He was a brilliant student, after SHS he went to KSTU. But after Services, he started going to Ghetto and this has lead to his addiction of drugs
