Receiving the donation on behalf of the Municipality, the Ledzokuku Municipal Director of Education, Mrs Theresa Tetteh, praised the NGO and its partners for the gesture, which will go a long way towards the development of education in the municipality and the country as a whole.

She used the occasion to also appeal to other philanthropists and corporate organisations to emulate the gesture from the NGO to complement government efforts towards the development of education in the country.

Mrs Tetteh stated that the government was ready to partner with all stakeholders towards the promotion of quality education in the country to help in the training of the right manpower needed for the various facets of the nation’s economy.

Madam Rose Sekoh, a Coordinator for the German Ghana Aid Association, said the presentation was one of such donations to the Teshie community towards improving the lives of the people.

She appealed to the beneficiary institution to take good care of the equipment and use it for the purpose for which it was donated to merit the donation.

Madam Sekoh also thanked Labdoo, its affiliate in Germany, which support in the collection of items for needy communities the world over.

She pledged to continue supporting the school to promote effective teaching and learning, and to promote the training of the required manpower needs of the country.
