President John Dramani Mahama has reiterated that his proposed ‘Reset agenda’ goes beyond physical development and economic expansion.

According to him, the agenda is also focused on rebuilding trust, strengthening democratic institutions, and ensuring that every Ghanaian feels included in the nation’s progress.

The president emphasised that development cannot be measured solely by roads, bridges, or economic figures, but also by how fairly institutions treat citizens and how much people trust the systems that govern them.

He noted that Ghana’s democratic foundations must be protected and revitalised to ensure accountability, transparency, and justice for all.

“Our Reset Agenda is not only about rebuilding infrastructure or expanding the economy; it is also about fostering a more inclusive society. It is also about renewing institutions and restoring the faith of our people in the pillars of democracy,” Mahama said in an X post.

Mahama’s comments come as part of his broader campaign message, highlighting a commitment to rebuilding public confidence in governance, strengthening social equity, and creating opportunities that reach every corner of the country.

As the country looks toward the next general election, the Reset agenda of Mahama continues to take shape as both a policy framework and a moral call for national renewal.
