The Ghana Police Service has announced a manhunt for suspects involved in a brazen daylight robbery at a jewelry shop in Adabraka.
According to a police statement, four masked robbers targeted a customer of an Accra-based jeweler, stealing more than GH¢6 million.
Eyewitnesses report that the robbers approached the victim’s Toyota Corolla, firing multiple warning shots to scatter the crowded Adabraka Market.
Shoppers and vendors fled, taking cover as gunfire rang out.

Following the incident, Korle Klottey MP Zanetor Rawlings visited the crime scene, voicing her concern over such daylight crimes and urging the police and Ministry of the Interior to intensify citizen protection, especially as elections approach.
