The annual health walk, which is a flagship event on MOGA’s calendar, underscores the association’s commitment to promoting preventive health and fostering a culture of wellness and unity among members.

This year’s simultaneous walk across the globe reflects our strength as a global sisterhood. The event is expected to attract over 500 old girls of Mfantsiman Girls’ Senior High School, along with supporters, families, and affiliate institutions.

The Accra edition is scheduled to start at 6:30 a.m. at the University of Ghana, Stadium Car Park, with regional chapter health walks being held in Koforidua, Kumasi, Swedru/Winneba, Cape Coast and Takoradi.

Old student associations from Adisadel College, Mfantsipim School, Wesley Girls, Holy Child, St Augustine’s College, Ghana National College and Aggrey Memorial have all been invited the join the health walk.

Activities planned for the main event in Accra include a health walk around the University of Ghana campus, aerobic workout session led by certified instructors, health screening, including blood pressure, glucose level, BMI checks and wellness and interactive sessions with healthcare professionals.

Sponsors for this year’s health walk include Voltic Ghana Limited, Blue Skies Company Limited, FanMilk Ghana, Mr. Yoghurt, Aramex, Shades of Sam, Qualicare, St. Michael’s Hospital and a host of media partners on board.

MOGA extends an invitation to the public, health enthusiasts, and corporate partners to participate in and support this important initiative.
