Liverpool and Portugal forward Diogo Jota has tragically died following a car accident in Spain, according to reports from Spanish news agency EFE.

The 28-year-old reportedly lost his life in a crash near the town of Zamora in northwestern Spain. Details surrounding the incident are still emerging.
