Managing Director of the Saints Foundation, Sam Fulling, praised Sulemana and Collett for their efforts to improve society by stating,

“This season, we’ve been grateful for the engagement of both first team squads in the work we do in the community.

“Kamaldeen and Meg were standouts even with a strong group. We are proud to present them as our PFA Community Champions for the 2024/25 season.”

Sulemana recently wrapped up his third season competing for Southampton after sealing a big move from French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes.

The Black Stars player scored two goals and registered three assists in 30 games in all competitions, but the Saints got relegated from the English Premier League and will compete in the English Championship in the 2025-2026 season

Sulemana is courting interest from French Ligue 1 side FC Nantes.
