The prosecution, therefore, prayed for a date.

The court, presided over by Nana Abena Asoh Owusu-Omenyo, adjourned the matter.

The accused persons: Bright Aweh, aka Highest Bright, the first accused, and Thomas Zigah, the second accused person, are standing trial for their involvement in the murder of Amoah.

The court did not take their pleas but remanded them into lawful custody.

Aweh and Zigah faced fierce resistance from relatives of the deceased.

The two accused persons are on remand for their various roles in the murder of Amoah, who went missing on July 3, 2025, after leaving home to meet Aweh at Ashongman Estates.

The body of the Immigration Officer was discovered days later in a drain at Abom Junction.

Investigations revealed that the meeting was arranged following WhatsApp exchanges involving images of cash, allegedly to settle a debt.
