President John Dramani Mahama has reassured Ghanaians of his unwavering commitment to deliver on his promises made before the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

As part of his nationwide “Thank You Tour”, Mahama expressed deep gratitude to Ghanaians for their trust and continuous support, pledging that he will not let them down.

Addressing a large crowd at the Koforidua Jackson Park on Sunday, July 20, 2025, in the Eastern Region, Mahama stated that the tour was not just to show appreciation but also to renew his covenant with the people of Ghana.

He emphasised that the NDC has learned valuable lessons from past challenges and is ready to build a more inclusive, transparent, and progressive government that focuses on creating jobs, tackling corruption, and improving infrastructure.

“Thanks for the warm reception,” he said to a cheering audience. “Due to the confidence reposed in me by electing me once again as President, I promise not to disappoint you. With the grace of God, we will fulfil all our promises to the Eastern Region and Ghanaians as a whole,” he added.

The “Thank You Tour” has seen Mahama visiting several regions, where he interacts directly with citizens, traditional leaders, and grassroots members of the party.

Mahama’s message on the “Thank You Tour” underscores his readiness to address the challenges facing the nation while prioritising unity and development.

As he continues his nationwide engagement, he remains optimistic that with the support of Ghanaians, the country can embark on a new era of transformation.
