The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) has issued a strong warning to the public and heads of tertiary institutions following the discovery of 50 institutions operating without official recognition.
In a statement signed by its Director-General, Prof. Ahmed Jinapor Abdulai, GTEC revealed that these institutions have failed to satisfy the Commission’s accreditation and quality assurance requirements.
As a result, they are not authorised to operate as tertiary institutions in Ghana.
