DStv subscribers across Ghana are set to enjoy more entertainment for less, as MultiChoice has announced a significant boost in value on its packages.
The company revealed that customers will now receive between 33% to 50% increased value, offering more channels, content, and viewing options at no additional cost.
The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has revealed that MultiChoice Africa has introduced what he described as an “unprecedented increased value offer” tailored specifically for Ghanaian subscribers.
This development follows weeks of regulatory pressure and negotiations concerning DStv pricing in the country.
“MultiChoice Africa has committed to an unprecedented increase in value offer only in Ghana, which will result in Ghanaian DStv subscribers getting more services for less,” the Minister confirmed.
“Depending on the DStv package or bouquet you use, subscribers will get between 33% to 50% more value,” he added.
Under the new arrangement, subscribers on the Paddy bouquet will automatically be upgraded to Access, while Access subscribers will move up to Family. Those on the Family bouquet will be upgraded to Compact, Compact subscribers to Compact Plus, and Compact Plus subscribers will now gain access to the Premium bouquet.
For Premium customers, the Minister assured that they will not be left out of the offer. Instead, they will automatically be entered into a draw for the chance to win a fully paid trip to Dubai.
The initiative will run for three months, after which the review committee will assess the packages and determine the next steps.
Subscribers are encouraged to check their current packages for details on the newly added value and explore the extra content now available.
With this development, DStv has once again reaffirmed its commitment to delivering quality, affordable, and entertaining content to Ghanaians.
