Economic integration to dominate 2025 Africa Prosperity Dialogues

The 2025 Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) is set to take center stage at the Accra International Conference Centre from January 30 to February 1, 2025.
With the theme “Delivering Africa’s Single Market through Infrastructure: Invest, Connect, Integrate,” the summit aims to drive the realization of Africa’s ambitious vision of becoming the world’s largest single market in terms of member states.

A convergence of leaders and visionaries
Organized by the Africa Prosperity Network in collaboration with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat and under the auspices of the Office of the President of Ghana, this annual gathering brings together Africa’s most influential leaders. Nearly 3,000 participants, including heads of state, top business executives, policymakers, and development partners, will convene to discuss strategies for economic integration and sustainable growth across the continent.
The dialogues will focus on leveraging infrastructure as the backbone for connecting Africa’s 1.4 billion consumers, fostering innovation, and building a prosperous and unified market.

Opening Day: Setting the tone for integration
The event will kick off on January 30 with the opening of the Projet Afrique Exhibition and other official side events.
The inaugural ceremony of APD 2025 will feature distinguished speakers, including international dignitaries and experts, who will delve into critical topics such as infrastructure funding, transport, and logistics to enable free movement of goods and people across the continent.
The opening day will conclude with a Welcome Reception at Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, providing a platform for networking and fostering relationships among attendees.

Day 2: Innovation and development take center stage
On January 31, the dialogues will turn to critical issues shaping Africa’s future.
Topics such as sustainable energy, digital infrastructure, STEM education, healthcare systems, manufacturing, and urban development will be at the forefront of discussions.
An open forum will allow participants to contribute their perspectives on these issues, ensuring that diverse voices shape the summit’s outcome document, which will outline actionable recommendations for achieving a unified African market.

Final Day: High-level dialogues and recognition
The summit’s final day on February 1 will feature a High-Level Heads of State and Business Leaders’ Dialogue, bringing together Africa’s top political and business leaders.
A Presidential Roundtable will focus on creating policy frameworks to enhance private sector involvement in building the single market.
Two fireside conversations are expected to be major highlights of the day.
One will explore the BADEA $50 billion Investment Fund, while the other will spotlight insights from one of Africa’s most celebrated industrialists.

A night of celebration and inspiration
The event will culminate in the prestigious Africa Prosperity Champions Awards and Presidential Gala Dinner at Kempinski Hotel, Accra.
This black-tie event will honor individuals and organizations whose contributions have significantly advanced Africa’s integration and prosperity agenda.
The evening will celebrate achievements that resonate with Africa’s 2063 vision of building “The Africa We Want”—a continent united by shared goals and inclusive development.
With both the Africa Prosperity Dialogues and peace-building missions like this, Ghana continues to set the tone for progress, unity, and visionary leadership across the continent.
