David Nkansah Anto (DNA) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sweepers have urged Ghanaians to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming presidential election, emphasizing his track record of implementing impactful policies that have transformed the lives of ordinary citizens.
Highlighting innovative programs introduced by the Bawumia-led administration, DNA underscored the importance of continuing these initiatives for sustained national progress.
Saving Lives Through Medical Drones
DNA spotlighted the medical drone delivery service as a game-changer in healthcare delivery. This initiative, which ensures the rapid supply of essential medical resources to remote areas, has saved countless lives, offering a lifeline to communities previously cut off from critical health services.
“This program demonstrates Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to leveraging technology for social good,” DNA remarked, adding that many families in rural areas have benefited directly from the initiative.
Free SHS: Transforming Education
The Free Senior High School (SHS) policy was another milestone highlighted by DNA. By alleviating the financial burden on parents, the program has opened doors to quality education for thousands of Ghanaian children, fostering a brighter future for the next generation.
“This initiative has created opportunities and transformed the lives of countless families,” DNA stated.
Job Creation and Economic Empowerment
DNA lauded the NPP government for creating over two million jobs, reducing unemployment, and providing young people with sustainable livelihoods. These efforts, he said, stand in stark contrast to the economic challenges experienced under the previous John Mahama administration.
Remembering the Era of ‘Dumsor’
Recalling the devastating impact of “Dumsor” (erratic power supply) during the Mahama administration, DNA pointed out how frequent outages crippled businesses, forcing artisans and cold store operators to shut down. He warned against returning to an era marked by inefficiency and economic stagnation.
“Businesses suffered, livelihoods were lost, and families endured hardship. Ghanaians cannot afford to go back to those dark days,” DNA asserted.
Dr. Bawumia: A Visionary Leader
With Dr. Bawumia as No. 1 on the ballot, DNA called on Ghanaians to choose progress over setbacks. He described Dr. Bawumia as a leader who prioritizes solutions, delivers tangible results, and is dedicated to improving the lives of all citizens.
“Dr. Bawumia’s leadership symbolizes growth, innovation, and prosperity. Let us vote for a leader who has proven his commitment to Ghana’s development,” DNA concluded.
A call to action
DNA and the NPP Sweepers have issued a clarion call for Ghanaians to rally behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, emphasizing that his presidency represents a brighter future for the nation.
