The event focuses on how Christian principles and ethical leadership can reinforce a resilient, compassionate and high-performing health system.

The 2025 annual conference highlights Christian ethics in health systems strengthening and examines the Ministry of Health’s priorities for the 2026-2029 Health Sector Medium-Term Development Plan.

The conference will also explore how values-based education can support holistic and compassionate care, as well as emphasise the importance of Christian stewardship in driving transformative change in healthcare delivery.

A major part of the programme will look at strengthening CHAG institutions through responsible leadership and effective resource management.

In addition, conversations will address ethics and integrity in financial governance, underscoring the importance of accountability in sustaining quality healthcare.

Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, will address issues regarding Christian ethics in health systems.

This has become crucial in recent times as CHAG yearns to deliver quality healthcare within its facilities.

Registrar of the Medical and Dental Council, Dr. Divine Banyubala will also speak on ethics and values needed to drive sustainable quality healthcare in Ghana.

The conference will be graced by the Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, Acting Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Samuel Kaba Akoriyea and the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, as expected to address the conference.

As one of the leading providers of healthcare in Ghana, especially in rural and underserved communities, CHAG is aiming at strengthening faith-based healthcare delivery while maintaining Christian identity, ethical foundations and patient-centred values.

The association believes that sustained ethical leadership and strong Christian principles will remain essential in ensuring quality healthcare delivery and advancing national health goals.
