The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has introduced an upgraded Government of Ghana electronic pay slip system for all public sector workers on the National Payroll.

The Department said the initiative would improve transparency, security and access to payroll information.

In a statement signed by Mr Cephas N. Dosoo, Head of Public Relations, for the Controller and Accountant General, the Department said the upgraded system required all employees to use their National Identification Authority (NIA) numbers to access pay slips to enhance accuracy and protect personal payroll data.

Employees are to log on to https://gogepayservices.com and complete a registration process that includes verification with their employee number and Ghana Card number, the statement said.

The process also requires users to confirm or update their phone numbers—now compulsory—through a one time password (OTP), create a new password, and select a security question and answer for future password recovery.

Providing an email address is optional, the statement added.

To support users, the Department said it had made available a step by step instructional video on how to access and use the electronic pay slip system at https://youtu.be/wraUiX0C8wk.

It urged employees who required further assistance or wished to provide feedback to contact the CAGD on 0303987950, 0303987951, 0247360841, 0245289771, or 0246968301.
