The Revenue Assurance Information Technology team of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has conducted a comprehensive training session in the Volta Region to enhance debt management strategies and revenue collection.
Participants included Priority Clients Management Executives (PCMEs), Debt Management Officers (DMOs), and Revenue Management Officers, who gathered at the Regional Conference Room for the session.
The training aimed at equipping these professionals with the necessary tools to effectively manage high-consuming customers and reduce outstanding debts across various districts in the region.
Utilizing the ECG Live Debt Dashboard
A core focus of the training was the ECG Live Debt Dashboard, a digital tool designed to improve efficiency in tracking and managing debts.
Participants were encouraged to leverage this technology to streamline their processes and enhance collection efforts.
The ECG Live Debt Dashboard provides real-time data on revenue collection, allowing officers to identify trends, monitor outstanding balances, and develop effective strategies for reducing arrears.
By integrating data-driven decision-making into daily operations, the company aims to strengthen its financial stability and service delivery.
Commitment to revenue growth
Following the training, all participants are expected to apply the knowledge gained to improve debt recovery and avoid recording zero collections in their management activities.
The initiative aligns with ECG’s broader objective of ensuring efficient debt management and steady revenue generation.
The Revenue Assurance Information Technology team, responsible for data engineering within ECG, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting staff in achieving these critical goals.
By investing in training and technology-driven solutions, ECG is taking proactive steps to secure its financial sustainability and enhance customer service across the region.
