Serene Insurance Company Limited, a member of the First Sky Group and a leading general insurance company, has honoured its agents across the country at a maiden Agents Awards Night in recognition of their critical contribution to the growth of its clientele market.
The Serene Insurance Agents Awards Night held at the Head Offices, SU tower terrace, in Accra provided a platform to honour and celebrate excellent performance and business development growth through progressive competition, novelty, and observance of the highest professional standards.
It also brought together all agents, officers of Agencies and staff stationed across the sixteen regions of the country.
In all, more than 38 agents received various awards for having distinguished themselves during the year under review.
The award categories included loyalty award for long service, best regional award for the regions and overall best agent.
Mr. Kofi Senya, an agent in Kumasi emerged as the national overall best agent for 2024.
Miss Esther Acheampomaa, also an agent clinched the first runner up overall best agent and Mr. Charles Oppong, an agent in Accra, settled for second runner up overall best agent.
General Manager for Business Development and Marketing, Nana Yaw Owusu Dwomoh commended the agents for proving their mettle in contributing to positioning Serene Insurance as a key general insurance player with a privileged reputation as a provider of reliable and cost-effective insurance products and services that address the needs of the insuring public.
Mr. Dwomoh noted the recent recognition of Serene Insurance as Emerging Brand Insurance Brand of the Year, Best Growing Insurance Company and CSR Leadership Award as a general insurance company and previous recognition as the fastest growing insurance company in Ghana in 2022 attest to the collective hardwork of the Board, Management, staff and agents driven by the strategic imperative to becoming a leading voice in the industry ecosystem.
Chief Executive Officer of Serene Insurance, in her remarks, encouraged agents to retain their businesses since retention is an important engine of agency growth in the insurance sector. She further urged the agents to maintain good records of clients to enable them maintain a credible and reliable database of clients (Know Your Client – KYC) which would eventually boost customer retention.
Serene Insurance opened two more branches in 2024 shoring up operational offices to eleven since its inception in 2018.
The new offices are the Takoradi branch office opened in July and the Accra East (Adentan) branch office commissioned in November.
Serene Insurance’s unrivalled customer service, strong financial base, being one of the well capitalized players in the industry and inclusive product penetration among other innovations, has positioned it as the New Face of Insurance.
