Police rescue Sylvia Patience Baah, Emirates Airlines Manager from alleged kidnapping

The Ghana Police Service has successfully rescued Sylvia Patience Baah, the Airport Services Manager for Emirates Airlines in Accra, following her alleged kidnapping.
The operation, which has been widely praised, ended with Ms. Baah being safely reunited with her family.
The incident reportedly occurred at the entrance of her residence in Accra on Thursday, 21st November 2024.
While the details of the abduction remain under investigation, the police have assured the public that an active search is underway to apprehend the suspects responsible.
In a statement, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, commended the collaborative efforts of law enforcement and the public, whose tips and support were instrumental in the rescue operation.
“We remain resolute in our commitment to ensure that those behind this crime are brought to justice,” the IGP stated.

Support for the victim
The IGP confirmed that he had personally spoken to Ms. Baah and her family, who are reportedly in good spirits following the ordeal.
To aid in their recovery, the Ghana Police Service has assigned a team of police medical officers and clinical psychologists to provide support during this critical period.
The police expressed gratitude to the public for their cooperation and urged anyone with further information on the case to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
