The National Under-17 female team, the Black Maidens will on Wednesday, January 22, commence camping at the GFA Technical Centre (GSCE), Prampram.
The Black Maidens recently etched their names into the history books with a nail-biting 5-4 victory over Nigeria’s Super Flamingos via penalty shootout to clinch the inaugural WAFU Zone B U-17 Girls Cup, held at the GFA’s Technical Centre (Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence), in Prampram.
Coach Joe Nana Adarkwa has been given approval to commence camping to begin the process of building the next formidable Women’s U17 Team for the next international assignments which would start during the final quarter of the year, a statement from the GFA said.
It said the GFA is committed to ensuring the team is put in the best of shape and would be facilitating series of friendlies locally and internationally for the teams’ participation.
The selected players are expected to report to the GFA Technical Centre (GSCE) in Prampram on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 4pm prompt.
In all 30 players have been invited to start the camping exercise.
