Fans across North America are in for a footballing spectacle as the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola prepares to make 38 stops across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, offering a rare chance to see the original FIFA World Cup Trophy up close before the highly anticipated 2026 edition of the tournament.
The tour, marking its 20th anniversary, has already captivated more than four million fans in 182 markets worldwide since its inception, bringing the magic of football directly to supporters around the globe.
This year’s journey began on January 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will cover 30 FIFA Member Associations before culminating in North America.
Mexico kicks off the North American journey
The North American leg will launch in Mexico on February 26 in Mexico City.
The trophy will travel to ten cities, including Guadalajara, Monterrey, León, Veracruz, Chihuahua, Querétaro, Puebla, Chichén Itzá, and Mérida, before returning to Mexico City in June ahead of the tournament opener. Fans will enjoy interactive activations that celebrate Mexico’s deep footballing culture and passion for the game.
US tour promises coast-to-coast excitement
On March 24, the tour moves to the United States, beginning in Los Angeles and spanning 21 stops across major cities, including Las Vegas, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, and New York/New Jersey.
The itinerary will cover all 11 U.S. FIFA World Cup 2026 host cities, alongside ten additional key markets, providing fans with unique, hands-on experiences with football’s most coveted trophy.
Canada joins the celebration
Canada’s segment kicks off on April 10 in Vancouver and continues through Calgary, Winnipeg, Montreal, Halifax, Ottawa, and Toronto. Organisers aim to showcase the country’s rapidly growing football culture and generate excitement as the nation prepares to co-host its first FIFA World Cup matches.
