Ecobank Ghana has held the first draw of its “Five Star Enjoyment Promotion,” rewarding thousands of customers nationwide for their loyalty and continued engagement with the bank.

The promotion, launched last month, forms part of a three-month campaign designed to appreciate customers for choosing Ecobank as their preferred financial partner.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Head of Marketing and Brands at Ecobank Ghana, Regina Ofori, described the initiative as an exciting opportunity to celebrate customers.

She noted that over 3,600 customers were expected to receive various rewards during the first draw.

“We believe in celebrating our customers, and this promotion is one of the many ways we show gratitude to them for choosing us. We are excited that they can start the festive season on a high and enjoy a truly five-star experience,” she said.

She further acknowledged the National Lottery Authority (NLA) for partnering with the bank to ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process.

“If we declare someone a winner, they are indeed a true winner,” she assured.

Regina Ofori also praised Ecobank’s hardworking sales teams across the country for ensuring that customers can access the bank’s services with ease, adding that customer loyalty continues to inspire the bank to innovate and offer world-class banking solutions.

Adding to the remarks, Head of Direct Banking at Ecobank Ghana, Kesewa Nyanor, emphasized the bank’s commitment to rewarding customer trust.

“We are happy to reward our customers today. This initiative is designed to celebrate you and reaffirm our commitment to the relationship we share,” she said.

She announced a wide range of rewards presented during the event.

“We are rewarding 500 individuals with a one-year insurance cover worth GH¢10,000 each. Another 2,000 customers will receive airtime, while 500 others walk away with vouchers and cash prizes,” she explained.

She added that the biggest prizes of the day were reserved for 15 lucky winners.

“Five individuals will walk away with GH¢10,000 each, and ten others will take home GH¢5,000. The question is: who will be the lucky ones today?” she remarked.

Ms. Nyanor noted that the draw also aims to educate customers on Ecobank’s convenient banking channels, including mobile and digital platforms.

“We want our customers to know that there are easier ways to bank, beyond walking into a branch. This promotion helps us spread that message,” she added.

She encouraged customers who may not win in the first draw to keep participating, as more opportunities remain before the promotion ends on January 30, 2026.

“The next draws in November, December, and January still offer a chance to win. So keep engaging with us,” she said.

Offering further assurance on the integrity of the draw, Marketing Executive at the National Lottery Authority, Priscilla Akuamoah, emphasized the NLA’s role as regulator and custodian of draw-related activities in Ghana.

“We are thrilled to be part of this programme, and I hope everyone here wins something,” she said.

She explained that the NLA conducts strict background checks, validations, and screenings before any draw takes place.

“We ensure there are no family, friends, or staff of Ecobank or the NLA included among the selected individuals. Once all checks are complete, the final list is randomly selected,” she noted.

She added confidently: “Everyone selected is a true reflection of fairness and transparency. Congratulations to all the winners.
