The excavators were transferred to different locations over 16 days, from August 20 to September 8, 2025.

A total of 92 excavators were moved to Michel Camp, 149 excavators to Teshie Camp, 315 excavators to 5 BN Burma Camp, and 63 excavators to 49 Engr Regt Burma Camp.

This exercise is part of the government’s efforts to regulate the use of excavators and prevent their misuse in illegal mining activities.
