Controversial evangelist and former fetish priestess Nana Agradaa, known as Evangelist Mama Pat, has made a bold claim that is stirring conversation across social media platforms, stating that her anointing and blessings got Wontumi out of EOCO.

According to her, Chairman Wontumi’s release from EOCO (Economic and Organised Crime Office) was not coincidental — it was due to her spiritual intervention.

In a recent viral video, Nana Agradaa brags about how her anointing and blessings played a divine role in Wontumi’s recent encounter with EOCO. She insists that her prayers and spiritual influence were key to getting Wontumi out of EOCO’s grip.

“Please, I am not the one who bailed him. It is my anointing that resulted in his release. It was my favour that released him. That is all.

“Yesterday, when I visited EOCO, my blessings splashed around the premises and even touched our dear brother, Chairman Wontumi, leading to him not being detained by EOCO anymore,” she declared in the video.

The claim has triggered mixed reactions from the public. While her loyal followers celebrate the supposed spiritual feat, critics accuse her of attention-seeking and leveraging trending headlines for personal gain.

This isn’t the first time Nana Agradaa has found herself at the centre of controversy. Her transition from traditional priestess to Christian evangelist has been marked by dramatic public statements and viral confessions.

Her latest remarks, connecting herself to the fate of Chairman Wontumi, continue to blur the lines between religion, politics, and showbiz in Ghana.

Chairman Wontumi, known formally as Bernard Antwi Boasiako, is a well-known political figure in Ghana.

His recent questioning by EOCO stirred public concern, but he was later released. Whether or not Nana Agradaa’s spiritual claims hold weight remains a topic of heated debate.

Wontumi is currently on bail and expected to return to EOCO for further investigations.
